EXECUTIVES

John McRae

John McRae

Mr McRae, Stuart Petroleum's Company Secretary and Commercial Manager, joined the Company in September 2003, following a variety of senior financial, company secretarial, logistic and procurement managerial positions principally in the mining and upstream oil and gas industry. His roles have included a range of senior management positions.

He is a member of CPA Australia.

Andrew Ikin

Andrew Ikin

Mr. Ikin, Stuart Petroleum’s Chief Financial Officer, has over 30 years professional experience, primarily in the petroleum industry.

Mr. Ikin was appointed to Stuart Petroleum Limited’s management team in March 2006. He was previously a Manager in Santos Limited for over 20 years with responsibilities for Accounting and Joint Venture Management. He had previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, primarily in an audit role.

Mr. Ikin is responsible for all accounting, treasury, taxation and insurance matters for Stuart Petroleum.

Mr. Ikin has a first class honours degree in economics, majoring in accounting, and is a member of CA Australia.

Iain MacDougall

Iain MacDougall

Mr MacDougall, Stuart Petroleum's Production Manager, joined the Company in March 2004, following 16 years with Schlumberger in a wide variety of technical and managerial positions in the upstream oil and gas industry, with assignments in Australasia, Asia, West Africa, the UK and the Middle East. Prior to this he worked in the nuclear power industry and in automotive powertrain research and development in the UK.

He has a BSc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manchester University in England as well as completing the International Executive Programme from INSEAD Business School in France.
He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Robert Frears

Robert Frears

Mr Frears, Stuart Petroleum's Exploration Manager, has over 30 years experience in the petroleum industry. This includes working for exploration and development companies, consulting companies and the South Australian Government.
He was previously the Chief Petroleum Geologist in the South Australian Department of Mines and Energy after working for Santos in petroleum exploration and development.
His current projects are prospect evaluation in Stuart's areas in the Cooper Basin with special emphasis on gas and management of the Company's Drilling and Seismic operations.
In 1969 he graduated from the University of Adelaide, majoring in geology and is a member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia.

Mark Mussared

Mark Mussared

Mr Mussared, Stuart Petroleum’s Exploitation Manager, has a total of 29 years experience in the petroleum industry in Australia and overseas, in both onshore and offshore environments. He has accumulated a wide range of skills and experience in subsurface petroleum and reservoir engineering; well drilling, completions and workovers, both onshore and offshore; offshore and onshore development projects; as well as in economic evaluation and commercial matters. He has particular knowledge of the Cooper Basin and other Australian onshore and offshore petroleum provinces stemming from technical and managerial positions in Schlumberger, Delhi Petroleum, Santos and Origin Energy since he began his petroleum career in the northern North Sea in 1979.

He holds an honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Adelaide, and a Master of Science degree from the Oxford University. Mark is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and has served as chairman of the South Australian Section.

Mr Bird, Stuart Petroleum's Manager Business Development & Supply, joined the Company in May 2005 following a variety of senior commercial and supply management positions principally in the upstream oil and gas industry and in the mining industry.
